Uniqueness and customisation increase profitability and the ability to reach a wider customer potential.

Product bundling gives retailers the opportunity to design a package that is exactly what they want. Product bundling is based on the assumption that the retailer knows what the customer wants and needs. A product package is usually a predetermined combination of mandatory products.

In contrast, mass customisation, as represented by product options, aims at offering the customer the possibility to create his own package and combination of a predefined set of products. This allows the merchant to achieve better profitability through a wider potential customer base.

Minimising the number of steps and providing real-time information to facilitate the customer's decision-making process

In Johku, the sales of options are optimised to coincide with the actual main product selection and availability in the customer's decision path. Options and their real-time availability have a big impact on the comparison. In addition, this approach achieves a higher final conversion, as the erosion caused by phasing is reduced.

Hidden options

A hidden option is a product that is automatically attached to the main product and hidden from the customer. Hidden options are often used to manage tasks related to the implementation of the main product or products that are integral to the main product and that are not intended to be communicated to customers.

Mandatory options

A mandatory option is an product that is automatically attached to the main product and is visible to the customer. Mandatory options are often used to make the packaging of the main product transparent. For example, a hotel accommodation may often have a breakfast attached to it and this needs to be communicated to the customer.

Opt-in options

Opt-in options are additional services and products that can be conditionally selected by the customer for the main product. Opt-in options are a way to dynamically increase customer-specific revenue.

Options are based on real availability

Even the sale of options is based on real availability in Johku. This ensures that the customer is always able to genuinely buy and is not disappointed. It also frees up a significant amount of time for other tasks, which increases the profitability of the company, especially in the long term.

Scheduling of options

Options can be scheduled in relation to the main product. The schedule may be the same or in some relation to the start and end times of the main product. Also, the exact start and end times can be specified for an option. In addition, the option reservation can be made to recur during the reservation of the main product.

Product packages also including different VAT rates

Product options can be used to create product bundles from the merchant's own products. The packages are based on the joint availability of both the main product and the options linked to it, at a time and with a number of participants chosen by the customer. A package can include products with several different VAT rates, as Johku can calculate everything based on the rate defined for each product.

Products from other merchants also available

Products from other Johku merchants attached to the store can be linked to the product as individual products or as product categories to be added separately to the shopping basket.
