Johku is Finnish-owned and developed in Finland. The data of merchants and their customers is stored in Finland, on the servers of the Finnish company UpCloud in Helsinki, and it is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
You know who is responsible
Johku is developed by Aptual Commerce Oy. Support serves you by email in Finnish and English from Monday to Friday, 9:00–16:00 Finnish time, and the reply comes from a person who knows the day-to-day work of a tourism business owner. Your development ideas go straight to the people who build Johku.
Data protection is part of the system
- The order page asks the customer only for the information the product requires.
- Customer data collects in one customer register, which you can export to Excel.
- You can anonymize customer data that is no longer needed.
- A logged-in customer can check their own personal data themselves.
- You publish your privacy notice and terms of sale in your shop from the same place.
