A resort sells nights of accommodation, places on excursions, rental equipment and sauna sessions. The front desk, activity services and the rental shop each need to know the day's bookings, and management needs an overall picture of sales.
Johku is the operating system for tourism sales. You sell accommodation and other services in the same Johku and set each one's own times, prices and availability. Together, Johku Max and your own AI assistant, Claude or ChatGPT, form a tourism operations system tailored to your resort.
Johku works well for, for example
Holiday resorts and holiday villages
Golf resorts
Seaside and archipelago resorts
Nature and experience resorts
Island destinations where accommodation, meals and transport are sold together
The whole stay from one Johku
Guests book their accommodation and add, for example, a sauna session, an excursion or equipment rental to the same order. A time is chosen separately for each service.
On site, the front desk, the restaurant and the equipment rental shop sell on their own POS from the same Johku. This way, sales made online and at the different service points are all in the same system. Alongside accommodation and activities, you also sell tickets, sauna sessions and venue bookings.
Sell your partners' services too
Excursions and services from local business owners can be brought into your own store. Guests book them in the same order as their accommodation. When cross-selling is paid with Visma Pay (a payment provider for businesses in Finland), the payment and the agreed commission can be split between the merchants automatically.
Johku is the foundation, and the assistant works the way your resort does
Johku App standardizes and optimizes commerce processes and forms a dependable foundation, the operating system for tourism sales. Max connects your own AI assistant to Johku's data and functions. Your resort's work instructions, along with ready-made skills and AI prompts, guide the assistant to work the way you do. You can use Claude, ChatGPT or both.
The assistant uses the bookings, sales and customer data stored in Johku. You can look at accommodation, activities and the sales of the different points of sale together. You ask, check and decide.
Available now in Johku Max:
The weekend at a glance
“Who is arriving to stay on Friday, and how many participants are there in Friday evening's activity?” Accommodation and activities in the same answer.
What guests buy
“What else did our summer guests buy?” You see which services sell alongside accommodation.
Prices in one go
“Raise the weekend prices of the beach cottages by 10% for July.” The assistant updates the prices, and you check them in the price calendar.
Support for shift planning
“Suggest next week's shifts based on the bookings, opening hours and the instructions I have given.” The assistant makes a suggestion that you check before putting it into use.
The assistant works with administrator credentials, and deletions always require confirmation. With Max, you get a dedicated specialist who connects your assistant to Johku and builds the first skills for your resort's products and routines with you. In a meeting, we show you Max with your own products.
The assistant builds your resort's own views in Johku
When you need a view or a tool that Johku does not have ready-made, you tell your assistant what the front desk, a guide or the cleaning team needs to see. The assistant builds the view and uploads it to your Johku. The view opens in Johku admin alongside the other views and gets its data from Johku, so it is used as part of the day's work. We build the first views with you. Available now in Johku Max, for example:
Passenger list by vehicle
“Show the passengers on tomorrow's excursion by vehicle.” The driver checks the list on their own screen.
Cleaning order based on guests
“Show today's departing cottages in cleaning order: first the cottages whose next guest has already arrived.” The cleaning team follows the list on its own screen.
Onboarding starts from the way you work now
We go through how your accommodation, activity services and different points of sale work now. We work out which data and work steps move to Johku and which other systems you still need.
When you connect your accommodation to channels, you can bring the bookings already in them into Johku. Importing channel bookings is one part of onboarding. If you wish, we build your store ready for use, and your dedicated specialist supports you during onboarding and after it.
