Guests pay online when they book, at the front desk when they arrive, or by invoice. All sales come together in the same Johku, so you do not need to combine figures from the online store, the POS and invoicing by hand.
Money goes straight to your account
Johku does not handle your money. Online and card terminal payments go through the payment provider you choose, straight to your account. You make your own agreement with the payment provider. It is worth making the choice at the start of onboarding, because it decides which payment methods your guests see.
Online and at the front desk
Online, guests pay for the booking through Finnish online banking, by card or with MobilePay as soon as they book. On site, you sell with Johku POS, which runs in a browser on a computer or a mobile device. You take card payments with a card terminal integrated with Johku, and with some payment providers a phone also works as a card terminal.
Deposit and final payment
You can split the payment for a booking into two installments: the guest pays a deposit when booking and the final payment before the booking starts. Johku reminds the guest about the final payment with a message that contains a payment link, and you see the payment status of both installments on the order.
By invoice
You can invoice businesses and groups. The billing customer's details are saved in the customer register, and you can send a larger package as a quote that the customer accepts with a confirmation link, or with a payment link.
Refunds from the same order
When you credit a canceled order, an amount paid through Visma Pay (a payment provider for businesses in Finland) or through MobilePay connected directly to Johku is refunded to the guest from Johku. You do not need a separate visit to the payment provider's portal.
