Strong electronic identification as part of the ordering process
In Johku, you set strong electronic identification per product. The customer identifies themselves as part of accepting the terms in the ordering process. Identification strengthens trust in the person ordering and reduces the merchant's risk. With it, you can link the identified customer to the contents of their order and to the product-specific terms that apply to them. Together with product-specific forms, you can also handle cases where the person ordering and the person identifying are not the same: for example, a minor places the order and a guardian identifies themselves.
Ordering the identification service and prices
Basic pricing
Strong electronic identification is available to all Johku merchants by default. Basic pricing suits occasional use with few identification events. You can use it, for example, in sales that you start with a payment link.
Per-event fee €2 per started identification event (excl. VAT)
The price includes identification with Finnish online banking credentials or a Finnish mobile certificate (mobiilivarmenne). Both are Finland-only identification methods. You turn on identification per product in the product settings. Fees for started identification events are charged automatically on the commission invoice.
Volume pricing
When you use strong electronic identification more widely in your online store's ordering process, identification events usually add up. In that case, it is worth switching to volume pricing.
