The tour departure is confirmed, and the remaining places open to solo travelers too. With the Joinable bookings setting, the first booking must meet the minimum number of participants. After that, others can join the same departure, even one at a time.
The minimum applies to the first booking only
With joinable bookings, the minimum number of participants applies to the first booking for a time slot. Once the departure is open, others can join it with bookings smaller than the minimum. Without this setting, the minimum applies to each booking separately.

The first booking opens the departure
When the first customer books at least the minimum number of places, the time slot opens. Before that, a customer who chooses a smaller number of participants does not see the time slot in the calendar.
The remaining places one by one
Once the departure is open, other customers join it with smaller bookings too, until the maximum is reached. For a single-person booking, the calendar shows only departures that are already open.
The same rule wherever you sell
When you sell at the POS or make a booking in Johku admin, the same rule applies: the first booking for a time slot must have at least the minimum number of participants.
Example
Say a guided paddling tour has a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 10. Saturday's departure does not show for a single-person booking until someone books at least two places. When a couple books the Saturday departure, eight more people can join, even one at a time.
Good to know
The product must have a bookable resource with “Allow separate bookings at the same time” selected. Without it, one booking reserves the whole resource and no one else can join.
Pricing does not change: each participant is priced according to the product's prices.
If you want to sell beyond the maximum from Johku admin or the POS, you use the resource's extra capacity.
For a product with several resources, the capacity limits follow the strictest values.
