Your storefront in your customer’s AI assistant

Johku Pro and Johku Max Available now

A customer can ask their own AI assistant what you offer and whether you have room on their date. The storefront MCP connects the assistant directly to your storefront, so it can find products, check availability and fill a basket. The customer confirms and pays for the order at your storefront’s checkout.

The assistant works directly with your storefront

The storefront MCP comes with every Johku storefront, both on its johku.com address and on your own domain. You do not need to turn it on. The customer needs their own AI assistant and your storefront’s MCP address, not a Johku account.

From a question to the checkout

The assistant finds your products

When a customer asks, the assistant gets products, descriptions, images and prices from your storefront. It reads the same information you have published there.

Availability comes straight from Johku

When the customer gives a date and group size, the assistant checks free times and prices in real time from Johku.

The purchase ends at your storefront

When the customer wants to buy, the assistant adds the products to a basket and gives a link to the checkout. The order is created only when the customer confirms it at the checkout, and the payment goes through your payment provider.

Good to know

  • The assistant can use your storefront through MCP only once the address has been added to it.

  • The assistant can add for example cottages, hourly bookings, buyable products and fixed-price value cards to a basket, as well as products sold as open or confirmed orders whose price is shown.

  • Customers buy events and seats, packages, transport and ticket activities on the product page, where the assistant directs them.

  • The assistant does not see a product’s price if you have also hidden it on your storefront.

  • The assistant belongs to the customer and has no access to your shop’s admin. Managing your shop with your own AI assistant is part of Johku Max.

Example

A customer asks their assistant: “Find us a paddling trip for two on Saturday.” The assistant finds the trip on your storefront, checks Saturday’s free departures and the price, and gives a link to the checkout, where the customer confirms and pays for the order.

Availability

  • Products and industries: all storefront products, all industries

  • Price: included in Johku

Getting started

The storefront MCP works on every storefront without any settings. The MCP address is your storefront’s address followed by /mcp.
