You don't need a separate system to handle brick and mortar sales, you can use Johku's POS functionality in the same browser-based way you normally use Johku. Johku's POS system goes with you when you need it, for instance with a tablet and a wireless payment terminal.
With Johku, you can create self-service POS stations, which can be used to create an unmanned store, for example. The POS interface can be designed and locked to make it quick and easy for customers to buy and pay themselves.
In Johku, you can create different POS interfaces for different situations and POS stations; you decide which products and activities are displayed in them. Limit cash register access to a specific user or to a fixed browser on a specific device.
Johku's POS is a built-in feature of Johku, so you can use the POS where you would use Johku anyway, with just an internet connection. Johku is responsive, so you can use the POS on a smartphone or a pad, for example.
Seitatech payment terminals work integrated with the Johkun POS solution. In this case, the cashier does not have to enter the amount to be charged to the payment terminal, but it comes automatically from Johku. This completely eliminates human errors in the payment process. Discover and order an integrated payment terminal >
Johku's POS also support all other payment terminals as so-called external terminals. In this case, Johku does not communicate with the payment terminal and the cashier has to set the amount to be charged separately on the payment terminal and acknowledge the receipt as a card payment in Johku.
In Johku, you use Johku Printer to specify where receipts, tickets and value cards are printed. If you have an integrated printing payment terminal, you can print everything from there, no matter which payment method you use. E-mail delivery is also available.
Code scanners speed up the POS process by getting the product on the receipt directly by reading the EAN code of the product or the QR code on Johku's product label. The code scanner also reads and acknowledges Johku's value cards as used.
Johku's POS supports a wide range of payment methods - including multiple payment methods per order. In addition to cash and card payment, discount codes, prepaid cards, vouchers, open orders and invoicing are available. If you have Visma Pay, you can also accept mobile payments and virtual cards at the checkout.
At the POS, you can process open and confirmed orders. If you sell tickets, you can redeem the reserved tickets at the POS in parts, if necessary, if there is more than one ticket in the order.
You can also refund receipts in the POS. If you are using Visma Pay, Johku communicates the refund directly to the Visma Pay refund API. Within the same day, the refunds will be processed directly as cancellations and the balance on the customer's card will be released immediately. After the same day, the process goes to a basic refund with a small delay.
Together with Visma Pay, Johku supports taking payments from e.g. Booking.com virtual cards. You just start the payment transaction directly from the order.
Johku can print traditional restaurant task cards directly to the kitchen receipt printer.
All the key information for both the sales and the transaction is printed on the same receipt. In addition, all ticket-related information, including the QR code, can be combined on the same receipt.
Johku can print tickets not only on the receipt printer but also on Boca's real ticket printers.
In Johku, several self-defined button maps can be created to facilitate and speed up work and sales at POS. If required, you can create button maps even per cash desk or per user.
Johku is constantly evolving through the ideas of merchants. You can find new features under development in the Johku Ecosystem. You can also submit your own ideas to our Idea Register, where they will be evaluated and transferred to the development process.
